I’m sure you ran to the computer this morning to see if I posted the giveaway I teased about yesterday. I wouldn’t even be surprised if you lost sleep over it. And for that, I am sorry. But, tonight, you can get some good rest, comfortable in your knowledge of the fantastic giveaway here at Piano Teacher’s Retreat.
Discountlessonbooks, a great website that offers savings on all method books and teaching materials, is doing another great giveaway!
This week, you can win the complete Mozart Sonatas and Fantasies for the piano, edited by Broder. You can see the list of those sonatas and fantasies here.
If you win, you don’t even have to share this giveaway with your students. (I wouldn’t!)
To win: Leave a comment on this post, telling me any or all of the following: 1. your favorite thing about teaching, 2. your least favorite thing about teaching, 3. your favorite composer to play, 4. your favorite color, or 5. your favorite thing about me. (That last one was a joke, of course.)
The results of the giveaway will be announced June 22. As always, you can get extra entries for blogging about this giveaway or sending a friend to comment.
Thanks for reading!

I recently stumbled upon the works of Elijah Bossenbroek, and I’m so glad I did. He’s a very talented composer in Michigan. You can listen to his songs at his website www.elijahbossenbroek.com. His songs are perfectly lovely. I especially love “A Song of Simplicity” and “On the Wings.” Which ones are you going to fall in love with?
I’m getting to the best part of this post. He has generously offered readers of Piano Teacher’s Retreat a fabulous deal you can’t pass up- because it’s free!
Here’s the deal: go to his website www.elijahbossenbroek.com, send him an email telling him you found his site from pianoteacherblog.com, and he’ll send you a download of the sheet music for his song “A Song of Simplicity!” (Which is my favorite song of his, by the way!). It retails for $5.00, so you’re getting a steal of a deal.
What are you waiting for? Go get the sheet music to this beautiful song! And don’t forget to listen to his other songs. Oh so beautiful.
Oh wait. Do wait for just a little minute. Did you remember that PianoMorning.com is also offering readers of Piano Teacher’s Retreat a fabulous deal (I know I use the word fabulous too much.) If you sign up for a year’s subscription, they will give you a $10 refund when you write to them mentioning Piano Teacher’s Retreat. I just started a subscription and I’m super excited about the theory activities and songs they have available to subscribers.
K. Now you’re free to go. Have a great day!
