Relax, Share, and Laugh!
28 Jul
I’ve been out of town on a whirlwind vacation, and am still putting myself back together! Thanks for being patient with me while I get back into the swing of things!
Really quick, before I head off to unpack and then teach some lessons, I wanted to share this really cute idea for making a cake shaped like piano keys. I don’t want to take the pictures from the blog, so I will just leave the link here for you to visit. It’s very cute and looks really easy! Let me know what you think!

I LOVE IT!!!! Something I can even do! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Love it! Love the idea of using kit-kats for the black keys, especially. That makes it seem pretty simple and do-able!
Thanks for sharing! I am going to have to file this idea away for my next recital!
Thanks for sharing! I love your cake design and decoration idea; it looks really cute and simple. I’ll keep this on file and hopefully have cakes like this done and served to my students and guests in our next music studio mini-concert and recital. Please also consider including more piano teaching tips and resources in your next posts; as a piano and music teacher, I’d love to read more about these topics.
I’ve been making a piano keys cake like this for the past several years to serve at my spring recital. I use Keebler brand fudge sticks instead of Kit Kats as the black keys because they don’t have writing on them. I guess great minds think alike!
