My favourite part of teaching is the people - the parents who make/take the time out of their week to give their child(ren) an opportunity to get into the happy habit of music practice ... and the kids who come week after week - most times happy to see me! :-) My least favourite is the time/scheduling - wish I had more time with my family in the evenings. My favourite colour is .. blue. I play a big variety of composers - but tend to lean toward classical/romantic period compositions.

I love all the new games that I find on the websites that make teaching fun. I dislike the business end of teaching! My favorite composer is Chopin and my favorite color is blue. I love your sense of humor! I would love to win this giveaway, my Mozart Sonata music is all torn up!

1. Reward of teaching: Sharing knowledge that makes my music students better people is a constant teaching reward.

2. Dreads: Teaching a music course that is mandatory in an elementary school can be challenging, when some of the enrolled do not want to be there. However, making things 'fun' is the best way of remedying this situation.

3. Favorite composers: Chopin and Beethoven (and me... I'm a composer)

4. Favorite color: Blue (not reflective of my mood)

5. Favorite thing about author: Your optimistic blog!

My favorite thing about teaching is the time spent with each student, making music. My least favorite is the student who hasn't practiced during the week and comes to the lesson with a bad attitude because they have to work harder at the lesson. I like Chopin, Debussy, Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn and so many others. My favorite color is green. This is a great giveaway! Thanks

I love to play Schumann --- and Gershwin -- and Haydn -- and....
My favorite color is purple.
In teaching, it's frustrating when parents don't see the need to be involved in their child's music education -- but still expect to see results -- like just paying for lessons creates a musician! :-(
The thought of free Mozart music gives me chills! :-)
