I am requiring some of my students to read books about composers this year. They can choose what book they want to read on their own, but I have to approve it. One 7 year-old brought me this book today.

I loved it! It had big print, fun pictures and comics, and just enough information about Beethoven to keep a 7 year-old interested. I did a quick search on the author, Mike Venezia, and he has a whole host of other books about composers, presidents, and artists. He even has a book on The Beatles!
