Today, one little girl just could NOT get the rhythym of her song.  So we played “Follow the Leader.”  I got up and marched around to the beat while she followed me.  We did it until she felt too silly to continue.  When she sat back at the piano, she said, “OH!!!  So the rhythym is fast, fast, slow, then two more fasts!”  I have been pounding rhythym into her brain for so long and she just never gets it.  So this was a small victory for both her and me!
