It’s almost summer!  I can’t wait for the warm days and nights and all the fun things to do outside!  My city always has a lot of outdoor concerts that I’m really looking forward to.  The site, Kids Off the Couch has great ideas for helping kids become more active and involved in their world by connecting movies to real life activities.   They have a great idea here to watch the movie, Mr Holland’s Opus, and then go to an outdoor concert.  It’s a great thing to do with your own kids, your piano students, or to suggest to piano parents to get them more involved in their children’s musical education.  Or just go by yourself!  I’m planning on taking my husband out to a free concert for a date!
